As a huge fan of Talos Principle 1, this sequel was the worthy follow up I was always hoping for. It's a wonder this game is only priced at $30. TP2 has tons of puzzles, doubles down on the esoteric philosophical themes, and establishes an adventurous yet mysterious tone. The game's narrative paces itself well, and never feels like a hindrance to it's puzzle solving core.

The graphics are wonderful, and the environments of the different "worlds" you explore are impressive. However, one of my only gripes with the game comes from the size of these environments. They are very large, and if you're a completionist like myself (and if you want the secret cutscenes at the end) you have to spend a ton of time just... running around. Puzzle mechanics are interesting and varied, making for some very fun and unique solutions. I do wish they were a bit more difficult. I was only truly stumped by a couple of the Gold Door puzzles, but YMMV depending on your familiarity with puzzle games.

If you are a fan of puzzle games, I recommend giving this one a try.
