BDO was my first MMO, all i can say is that i never saw a game before with such a large pay2win cashshop, more and more cashshop items getting added every weekly patch. The devs/publisher are so greedy, it's a never ending story.

Just to give you a little taste of it.
-15€ monthly for a Value Pack => more money when selling on the Market, dye your gear, more inventory/storage slots.
-34€ for a costume (skin), without costume, your character just looks boring
-34€ for a ghillie => hides your Name/Guild
-49€ for a Tent => Remote control PvP/PvE buffs, repair on spot, Storage on Spot
-22€ for a horse skin
-12€ for a Maid => remote control your storage/market, 20min cooldown, so you want several of them.
-11€ for a standard Pet (Tier 1). you want 5 Pets and if money is there, 5x T4 Pets. getting higher Tier on Pets is RNG based, so get ready to use your Credit Card. (People spend up to several hundreds for the perfect T4 pets)
-16€ for 16 Inventory slots (192 slots max ONLY PER character)
-17€ 200lt Weight limit (you want way way more, only per Character again)
-49€ for Weapon exchange Coupons to reroll to another class. beware, yo will need new costumes, inventory slots, weight limit on this new class again. and yes, you can buy Character slots for 6€ each.

That was just the beginning, If you are ready to spend several hundreds, thousands of €, you can buy Artisans or costume melting to upgrade your gear more often. And yes, a lot of people do this. So spending a ton of money is a must-do if you wanna stay competitive, or if you wanna enjoy PvP

In this review, i skipped all the p2w items like, Lifeskilling costumes, 15 days of higher drop rate buff, experience buffs, Bells, lifeskilling transfer, worker lodges, stable spots, name changes, crystal extract stones, Fairy rerolls, house Interior, mount skill change coupons and many many more.

The pay to win aspect in this game is so massive, you can nearly buy everything with real money.
If you want to upgrade your gear to several PEN (highest gear level), you'll probably find yourself spending several thousands of € in this game, especially if you start now.

But yeah, the BDO community accepted the greed and buys everything new out of the cashshop.
And pretty often you will come across those players who spend several thousands and try to tell you "It is pay to convenience"
If you enjoy MMOs, try to find sth with a fair monetizing system. BDO is really the wrong game here.

It looks nice, the combat feels nice, but the classes are super unbalanced, the servers very laggy (still after years) and you will crash a lot, especially during large scale PvP. It's very sad, the game had a lot of potential.

I bought DayZ Standalone on Day 1.
After 4 years of empty promises, this game is still in a bad state.
I had big hopes for DayZ Standalone since it had so much potential and a huge community believing in the game and giving constant feedback!
Instead of taking the good parts of Arma 2 DayZ Mod, like base building, raiding and defending those, safezones with traders or AI Missions with good rewards where players have high chances to meet others and have great fights, the developers of DayZ took poor decisions like adding nonsense things like growing potatoes into the game.
There is literally no End-Game, you run around, loot, kill some random guy or you get killed. That's all.
The Map of Chernarus is beautiful though, but dead. It feels more like a graphic demo or a good looking running simulator.

After i played DayZ from 2013-2014, i decided to buy myself Arma 3 and start playing mods like Epoch or Exile which already had everything in the game like base building and AI Missions. This was hell lot of fun. I decided to come back for DayZ when they actually release the things that players were asking for years. Well after i tried it again, nothing really changed. After 4 years of development, nothing really important was added.

It feels bad to say that i totally gave up on this game, because when i first played it, i was very optimistic about it.
Well it turned out, that the game has still no content, it's full of bugs and the player base died.
I'm not a hater at all, im mostly trying to be optimistic and wait for the better patches in games. It's my first negative review on Steam... but i just wouldn't recommend anyone paying 30 bucks for this game anymore.

I'm pretty sure DayZ wont have a comback at all, so if you are really looking for to get a DayZ feeling, you better buy A2 and play the original mod or you get A3 and try out Epoch/Exile which are great mods indeed.

NieR: Automata is truly a Masterpiece!

-The story is very well written and has some great plot twists. It gets very emotional at some points.
-The Combat System is just great and looks so freaking good!
-The Soundtrack... ! THE SOUNDTRACK! Best Soundtrack i ever heard in a Game! Enough said!
-Great Characters!
-Lovely designed Open World
-Rarely enjoying Boss Fights in games, but you gotta love those!
-When you "finish" the game for the first time, the "A Ending", you are not done at all, there's so much more to come (Multiple Endings & Storys). It felt like you buy the Main Game with all DLC's already included. You need to finish the Endings A, B, C, D (& E) to finish the Main Story.


The very few small things i didn't enjoy:

-I wasn't a huge fan of the hacking ability, but that's just my personal opinion. It really fits the game well, but im just bad at Minigames and couldnt enjoy the "Ending B" playthrough that much since it was too much for me at some points.
-The PC Port: It took me some time to find out how i could enjoy the game without flickering in Fullscreen. I had to download a free and simple Third Party Program called "Borderless Gaming" to run it perfectly. The Cutscenes should be at least 60 FPS on PC too. I dont mind 30 smooth FPS, but the cutscenes often felt a little laggy.

Steam Reviews are at 86% positive at the moment and i feel like it would be much higher with a good optimized PC port, since most negative reviews are about optimization, flickering Fullscreen Mode or laggy Cutscenes.


Nontheless, NieR: Automata is one of the best games i ever played, i enjoyed it from the first second, started loving the characters, the world, the story, the combat system, the soundtrack... just everything about it!

Platinum Games created a real treasure here!

well, Trackmania² Canyon is my favorite of the series. i love the speed, the crazy tracks and especially the fullspeed maps with lovely autodrifts.
like always, hunting world records is one of the biggest parts of the game.
the only negative aspect is, that the community is much smaller than it was in titles like nations.
but still there are enough good drivers, to compete with.
Canyon is definetely my favorite game on steam until now.
it's fast. it's hard. it's fun.
