Better than Innocence in every aspect! The places you visit are so much more beautiful (or so much more horrific!) Requiem has better gameplay, better visuals, a better story and Hugo’s and Amicia’s bond is stronger than ever! Lucas also turned out great! I really loved the playthrough and the ending very much!

However, I do have one criticism. I didn’t enjoy how much screentime the sidekick Sophia got. She is by far the thinnest and the most mismatched character in the series. I disliked pretty much every moment she was around! I cannot understand why Amicia, who distrusts literally everyone would blindly trust a suspicious smuggler of all people. Sophia's unfunny or instructive comments annoyed me from the very first moment and ruined a lot of emotional moments between Hugo and Amicia for me. Also, the cutscenes kind of look stupid, with a pirate around. Every time she left the group, the game has massively gained in quality! Requiem would have been even better, if Sophia had just stayed on her boat and remained a minor supporting character, instead of being the third wheel in the story for far too long!

A fantastic sequel to a great game!

I was skeptical at first, when Oxenfree II: Lost Signals was announced, as I had no idea how a sequel could work, especially without the teenage mystery and its compelling crew from the first title. Fortunately, Oxenfree II exceeded all my expectations! Lost Signals is a thrilling mystery, with beautiful visuals, an atmospheric soundtrack and the best voice actors you could wish for in a video game! Night School Studio have really outdone themselves with this sequel!

If you liked Oxenfree, you should definitely not miss out on Lost Signals!

"Very well."
A big recommendation goes out to the Ultra+ Mod for enhanced visuals. The difference between Vanilla and Ultra+ is day and night.

So... do we also have to wait 10 years for part 2 to be released on PC?

Great artstyle. Great atmospheric soundtrack. Great RPG Tapletop feel with a story you create, by taking new choices every new cycle you wake up.
