I love this game. I beat it just a few days after it was released. I couldn't stop playing it until I got all of the achievements. I am not much of a roguelike genre gamer but still I found that it was very enjoyable. I am currently working through a harder difficulty play through with different doctrines than what I picked the first time.

The only bad thing I have to say about this game is - though it is controller recommended, placing those farming plots on keyboard and mouse is very tedious and annoying. Additionally, nothing much to do end game other than build and work on the aesthetics of your base. Achievement "Cure" (beat Kallamar without taking damage) was a very difficult challenge that took me a little while; getting the "Godhood" (No longer a servant, no less than a God) achievement was awesome.

The Halloween event was cool - I was super glad to see them add that. I look forward to more.

I hope this game gets DLCs for more content.

I've been playing this game since Alpha - it is still one of my favourites. All of the DLCs add amazing content and depth to each colony.

Feb 2022: I played this game again to get the achievements and I grossly sobbed all over again. Such a beautiful game. ;~;

October 2018: I cried like a baby but I also played it for 10 hours straight. It was that good. But I'm still crying, so. I'm gonna go eat some comfort food. 10/10+tears
