I'm not a big soulslike fan, but this game is exceptional. Tthe music is epic af, the pacing and world are amazing, and combat feels snappy, rewarding and very polished. I adore the art style and world design. It's definitely some of the most fun I've ever had in a soulslike. Definitely recommend.

Still haven't found a game that scratches that tactical, methodical, feel-like-a-badass itch as well as Ready Or Not does. It's got some issues with performance and the AI being a bit janky sometimes, but overall it's a great game.

This is what I love to see from indie games - pure passion and love for the craft put in by two brothers that truly care about delivering a good gaming experience. Even at full price, you're getting a labor of love that's quite polished, has excellent pacing, a high enough skill ceiling, and enough variety considering it's in EA.

Things I'd love to see:
1. Fixes for bugs like the one where a crystal drops near the portal in the Void and can't be picked up (screenshot here - https://i.imgur.com/dJlenHf.jpeg )
2. QoL changes such as having a sound indicator when you try to dodge and don't have stamina to do so
3. More weapon and class variety
4. A brightness setting because some dungeons are exceptionally dark, especially if you play in a bright room
5. Performance optimizations - on my RTX 3080 12GB on HIGH settings with DLSS set to QUALITY I sometimes get massive frame drops where the FPS tanks under 100, which can be a real deal-breaker when you're in the middle of a pack of enemies on low HP
6. A final boss - currently completing an ascension feels unrewarding because you don't fight anything big and difficult at the end

Overall, I love this game to bits and can see myself putting in some decent hours in.

I don't like the art style and the cringy writing. The affix extraction mechanic is cool, but apart from that, it's just an inferior Roboquest that looks, sounds, and feels worse.

It's so far from where it needs to be if it wants to stand any chance of not being DOA. It's clunky, unresponsive, floaty, with mediocre combat, exceptionally bloated UI, and just not enough originality to keep me playing. I wouldn't play this for free, let alone pay for it.

This is what Diablo 4 could have been if Actiblizzard weren't as greedy as they are and saw in their playerbase anything other than dollar signs...

GGG transferred all cosmetics PoE1 players bought into this game for absolutely free. This is something no other big developer has ever done in the history of this industry, and it should be celebrated. This is what caring for your playerbase means. Every big studio can learn a thing or two from GGG.

This is how a legendary ARPG is made. And I'm 100% here for it.

This game is the epitome of what epic is. Just all-around badassery and masculinity. Fun gameplay, impactful feel, gorgeous visuals and sound, and also there's plenty to do. Yes, the campaign is kinda short, but you have plenty of content to go through after that. Well worth the money, loved it.

I have been playing games for 25 years at this point. I've played well over a thousand different games in all genres imaginable. I've seen almost everything this medium of entertainment has to offer.

This game, however...this is without even a shadow of a doubt the most phenomenal game I have ever played. I can sing its praises without end, but it would do it no justice, not even a little.

The care, the love, the passion that has been put into this project by all the amazing people at Santa Monica Studio should be applauded and cherished. Games like this release once in a decade, at the most.

Thank you, Santa Monica, for giving me the most unforgettable gaming experience I have ever had. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

The voice acting and facial animations might be a bit cringe at times, but overall Hogwarts Legacy is a great open world RPG with a vast space to explore and conquer. The variety of spells and things you can use to aid yourself in combat is more than enough to keep it feeling fresh for a while. The amount of content in the game is honestly staggering for the measly 20 EUR I paid for the digital deluxe edition.

The music is great, the world is beautiful, and overall I'd say it's one of the best games I've played in terms of bang for your buck. You're likely to enjoy it even if you're not a Harry Potter fan, such as myself.
