Probably one of the best, if not THE best, Souls-like metroidvania rougelite games I've ever played. Concepts are simple enough on surface level but can be pretty in-depth in regards to elemental, weapon, and buff combos. Tip top procedural generation and incredible surprises pop up that left me nearly dropping my controller.

There are some wack difficulty spikes here and there, so some cell grinding will be necessary in order to obtain some permenant upgrades and new gear blueprints, but the extremely high replayability and variety negates any gripes I have with it. Also, not to mention there are daily challenges you can do once the feature is unlocked.

If you're into these types of games, DO NOT miss this one!

Wonderfully clever mechanics that are paced superbly.
Touching story involving likable characters dealing with inner struggles (anxiety, insecurity).
BRILLIANT music with perhaps even more brilliant sound design (play this game with headphones).
Low learning curve, but very challenging.
Collectibles like stawberries, cassettes and gems as well as an endgame level boost the replayability.
