I have been looking for an ARPG game for a while now, I have stayed away from Wolcen because of the reviews but I decided to give it a shot with the latest patch. Wolcen may still have some issues with minor bugs, but the game is very well polished in so many areas. The story campaign has been good so far, the combat feels great especially with the dodge mechanics on boss fights.

The resource system is unique with Willpower and Rage directly linked which forces you to think differently on how to manage your resources then the traditional mana system like Diablo/Torchlight/Last Epoch/Path of Exile. It takes some time to get used to and figuring out a way to use it efficiently, it works great with hybrid builds.

- Good graphics and excellent art/effects
- Great animations, with a nice feeling of weight
- Skills feels powerful and sound good
- Transmog system with coloring if you like to look fancy while slaughtering monsters with your Deathgazer Railgun
- Everyone looks badass!
- Performance surprisingly good so far, running great on a Asus Zephyrus G14 laptop

Some feedback to the devs/artists:
- The female proportions is a bit awkward, freakishly long legs, small head and imbalanced torso. Looks better in armour though

Totally worth trying out if you need to get that ARPG itch scratched. It is the best alternative for me at the moment, since Last Epoch is a bit rough still and I have gotten tired by Diablo/Path of Exile and the other alternatives.

Totally not worth 60 EUR. To bad Steam/Hello Games does not give refunds.


Small list of things that annoy me ->

Bad controls for PC.
Sketchy performance.
Lack of content.
Not enough variation in this so called infinite universe.
Boring mechanics.
UI is so clunky.

Made to waste your time and grab your money.

Last time I buy something at release day. Best to wait a couple of weeks/months after every new release.
