Why the ♥♥♥♥ does the last level of the first chapter have some sort of stupid portal maze that makes no sense? Its a 90s style shooter, why do we need ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzles? For Christ's sake I loved this game until I got to this piece of ♥♥♥♥ level.

This game is fantastic. A summary of our first expedition: Load in, figure out the dance button, spam dance in the plane. Spawn in to the underground silo. Immediately fix generator, begin running down the stairs as a group. Realize there is no stamina meter. Go full blast. Hit trap placed perfectly at the bottom of the stairs. Instakill our whole squad. 10/10 experience.

All in all though, this game is a ton of fun. Sure there are some bugs, but overall the experience has been a blast. Changing the difficulty also alters how the game is played. On Normal its kind of a horror-action-looter-extraction-shooter, which is a good time in the environment and the monsters really play into it well. On Hard, the game turns into Resident Evil CooP, sans any sort of regular weapon drops. It immediately cranked up the intensity and stress.

Some people may not find it fun, but I would dare say just about anybody with friends who picks this title up will have a grand time. The devs also have a good roadmap set up, and their primary goal appears to be improving QOL and fixing bugs. Highly recommend you pick up.

I have slowly played this game over the last few months, playing a few levels then taking a break just to keep it fresh. I was enjoying it a lot until Chapter 3. The gameplay itself is wonderful, good movement, forgiving platforming and solid shooting. Your compatrion S.A.M.M. is solid, and the ultimate evil is decent. The reason why this isn't a positive review is simply off of the ending of the game. The last 2 levels are simply just a test of how long you can hold down your finger on a trigger and avoid damage. You have to kill the second to the last boss in 3 separate rooms, the first two times you have to drain his health bar 5 separate times, followed by a tank version at the end with a massive health bar. While just shooting a boss and dodging bullets would be a fair fight, you end up having wave, after wave of enemies to deal with before you can deal more damage to the boss.

The final boss is worse, there is no health bar, you are perpetually swarmed by enemies, and this is after you have had a 4 timed arenas that are incredibly obnoxious and laid out poorly. I attempted the final boss many times before I gave up after the transformation. This game had so much potential, and turned into simply a button mashing bullet hell, almost as if the devs ran out of solid ideas to finish the game. I doubt I will go back and try and finish the final boss again, it was annoying and frustrating just to get there, and to continue to reset at the beginning of the fight, after the previous boss would allow you to reset whenever he lost a health bar is brutal.

Sometimes, you can finish a shooting game without it being abusive to the player with how much they have to do to simply finish it. What is the point of selecting difficulty levels when the end of the game is just a slog to kill everyone and spend an eternity fighting bosses without health bars?

I love cod, its been a great series for blowing off steam and running around blasting people for decades now. MW19 was my favorite game for several years.

That being said, this is one of the most pathetic "launches" for a AAA title from a BILLION dollar company ever. There is missing content everywhere, basic things like Barracks, (Tracking of stats so you can see how you are doing, challenges that reward you for playing the game, etc.) Hardcore, a functional menu, a functional party system, the ability to change your cosmetic and custom items (Battle Cards, Emblems, Operator), and Maps, Game Modes (FFS Gunfight was such a simple mode that they decided didn't need to be in the game.)

This game has more bugs than Cyberpunk did on launch and no hotfixes have come through that fixed anything. They are waiting to add any sort of content that would be expected on launch until they release their F2P Warzone 2.0, meanwhile selling this POS title for an excessive premium. We have the lowest quality maps in the history of the franchise, incredibly overpowered weapons (Looking at you SPR), the lowest TTK in any game that exists, and server problems out the ass. The hit reg is just as bad as it was 15 years ago when they launched the original MW2.

Like I said in the beginning, I love COD, but so far this is a pathetic money grab by Activision and IW, and this wouldn't even qualify as an Early Access title. Until they do something about the game I highly recommend people stay away from it and don't waste your money on the yearly $70 Cod Update this time.

I got this game to try out with my brother. My initial play through was somewhat buggy, but overall decent game. Good art style, sound design and story so far. My complaint is with the "roadmap" the devs have on the store page. Its already month 3 of 2022 and there have been no patches or updates concerning the game since Oct 2021, the map said Chapter 4 would probably be done by the end of Winter 2021, and we still havent seen hyde nor hair of anything past Chapter 1.

There needs to be some serious communication and insight onto the release of the game, otherwise don't purchase this unless you want an interesting idea of a playtest with a cliff hanger that doesn't explain much of anything. I have less than 2 hours in the game and its only as much as it is because of a restart due to a glitch. I would recommend this game if there was any communication or updates that came through. Currently its not something that should be sold, and should be listed for no more than a couple bucks, or as a demo.

Campaign is def Train Go Boom, not worth the play.
Multiplayer is dead, unless you have enough people as friends to play a custom/private lobby
Zombies is the greatest zombie experience you can have. Full mod support, literally unlimited amounts of content, on top of the already amazing maps from treyarch, definitely worth for the sale price.

This game is extremely atmospheric, beautiful, and terrifying. If you enjoy survival horror with a mix of having to shoot your way through a dark, hole ridden corridor while being swarmed by countless monstrous bodies, then GTFO lives up to its name. Bring your brown pants.

Fantastic game. Pro: Open world, fantastic character and world interaction, good gun play and driving mechanics (Auto drive makes things slightly more manageable), beautiful graphically, awesome co-op, great arcade modes. Con: Buggy, repetitive at times, the few escort missions are almost like walking too far on the beach and not wearing sunscreen and then getting the worst sunburn ever, then have lava poured onto your back while being dragged behind an 19 wheeler. Still a solid title.
