it almost feels like this is a "beta" release of the game as it is unpolished in many ways. no voice acting, procedural world generation makes levels completely unfair at times, item effects (and item prices) currently require balancing, and the fact that multiplayer is completely off the table is disappointing to say the least. at this point i'm really hoping some phenomenal mods are released eventually (multiplayer mod, game skin mods, maybe an extended story line)

the concept is extremely fun and rogue-lites are my most favorite genre of game of all time, but i would not recommend this purchase with the current state of the game. the only positives it garners are adorable characters and when the game isn't being wholly unfair, it is actually addictive fun.

I wanted to commit suicide but I lacked anything to do it with so I started up this game and it was so loud my brains turned into liquid :) otherwise 100/100
