It looks like the crashing is solved. Apparently the issue was noise generated on the 12V sense wire, which my ROG Thor (and apparently also Seasonic Prime Titanium) PSU didn't like. Google this and you would come across an Reddit thread with some solutions.

And then we have the very blurry mess that is this game's TAA, it's just as bad as in Red Dead Redemption 2. I now use FSR2 at an 100% resolution scale and 25% sharpening as AA, but this has it's own issues (like artifacting) which are still annoying to see, but less annoying than not being able to see something properly in the distance.

I can recommend this game again since the crashing is solved, but the AA situation still sucks.

I have no idea what happened to this game, but every single time i try to join unranked, it crashes. When i start the game again, it threatens with an penalty if i don't rejoin. And, of course when i rejoin it crashes AGAIN.

So unless you only want to play using quick match, don't bother.

This game still crashes at the same moment when using Vulkan. Using DirectX it gets even worse, with DirectX performance absolutely sucks compared to vulkan, and when it inevitably crashes again it has an chance of freezing your entire pc and end up getting an BSOD.

If you want to play on high-end hardware with things like screen-space reflections on 1080p, you STILL need to accept extremely grainy reflections and shadows. Even with things like motion blur, depth of field and film grain all disabled.

Now requires an Epic Games account. Didn't use to.
