One of my favorite games. Fast-paced arena shooter; like Doom 2016, but with robots and a comic book vibe. Weapons and movement feel great. Lots collectibles to find and upgrades to unlock, but it's fun from right from the beginning and only gets better from there.

Cool visual style, but there are better shooters and better Lovecraftian-themed games. I guess if you *have* to have both of those things in a single game, this'll do it.

A very good game with a bizarre narrative that it tells through deckbuilder mechanics. But it's not replayable in the way that Slay the Spire or other deckbuilders typically are, nor is it particularly well balanced; the game wants you to progress and will give you stronger cards and abilities until you practically can't help but win.

If you're looking for your next favorite roguelike deckbuilder, this ain't going to be it. If you're looking for a well made, interesting, and unique game experience, then Inscryption is worth your time. It took me about 20 hours to complete.

More flaws than game. Feels like a prototype or alpha build.

Short enough that it doesn't feel repetative. Good enough that I don't mind how short it is. I have a hard time resisting a game with this much style.

Thought this was going to be just a 2D Minecraft clone, but it's considerably deeper than that. If you like Minecraft, but wish it had more of a "game" element, or if you just like exploration and open-ended adventure games, this is worth a try.
