Horribly (un)optimized, run the benchmark before buying to make sure you're happy with the looks/performance on your machine.

That said, if you can run it, this is the best entry in the series to date. Tons of quality of life changes, reduced tedium from prior entries, and a better flow of combat for most (if not all) weapons.

There's too much Ubisoft-style "fat" (running to question marks on the world map, getting essentially nothing of substance, repeat) padding this game's playtime, but it's still an enjoyable entry into the series. If you liked the first game, odds are you'll like this too.

Sony/Arrowhead managed to strangle their golden goose in record time by removing the game from numerous countries and also nerfing the fun out of everything, but at least the latter has been largely reverted. Spreading democracy is enjoyable again.

Capcom apparently thinks it's okay to update a 14 year old game with new invasive DRM in a misplaced crusade against modding.

I'm a terrible painter but still enjoy this immensely.

If Diablo 3 and Dark Souls 3 had a baby, it would be this. Add in just a splash of Hellgate London (2007) as well.

There is a heavy emphasis on replay value with this game. The campaign only took me about 10 hours to finish, but you can't unlock everything in a single playthrough. Nearly the entire game is randomized including the maps you get, the equipment you loot, and the bosses you fight. The unique world bosses all even have multiple ways to kill them, giving different rewards depending on how you tackle them.

There's even support for multiple difficulties, hardcore characters, (with special rewards for all your characters) and a full on roguelike Survival Mode, for those looking for such challenges.

Underneath the bad graphics is a great sea exploration game. There's something charmingly fun about mapping the world out yourself, with sometimes vague quest hints. It's very reminiscent of the Morrowind era of gaming.

I do wish combat was more involved and there was a bit more to do on the sea itself (both underwater and something like ship-to-ship battles) but that might be addressed in the coming sequel. I still have more fun in this game than Sea of Thieves, though.

At the core, it's Fallout 4 with a different locale/enemies/story. You lose the ability to mod the game in exchange for multiplayer. It's not the second coming of New Vegas or anything, but I don't regret my purchase at all.

This is more or less a Doctor Who themed escape room. I do think it's a bit pricey compared to other VR titles for what it offers, so maybe wait for a sale, but as a Doctor Who fan I had a good time with this game. It's about 2-3 hours of playtime, primarily puzzle based, with light stealth and even an on-rails shooter section.

Played on a Valve Index all the way through with no major issues, despite the game not officially having Index support yet. Official support is coming though, which hopefully means they'll fix the wonky grab-points I just had to adjust to.

I consider this a must-have for any sort of VR content creator. Even if you aren't a content creator, it still has plenty of use cases. This brings the quality of life of a second monitor into VR, except it's as many extra monitors as you want. It receives constant updates and the developer is very personable.
