If you are a fan of Saints Row, this is not for you. This is essentially Saints Row The Third, but less polished and without any of the charm.

- Gamplay: Controls feel clunky or oversensitive, the gameplay is mushy and feels laggy in general.
- Missions: Main missions are fine I suppose, but the utter lack of charm (and the cringe writing) throw out the window the little good will I head. The side hustles and general empire building, is decently diverse, but almost nothing worth remembering (that is new; insurance fraud and mayhem are fun, but not new).
- Characters & Writing: What held the previous Saints Row games together for me, was the fun writing and characters. The reboot lost all of the charm and is mostly cringe to look at. Characters are one-dimensional and absolutely nothing surprises in the story.

Overall this game is not worth full price and maybe worth your money when AT LEAST 75% off (if you are a fan of Saints Row for the gameplay). Otherwise, keep away and play something else.

Catastrophy at release, but now it's in a quite decent state and I enjoy it. Decent Battlefield in 2024, although the servers and game are still not as stable as BF3/4 were.

Average experience at best. Whole game felt less consistent and more buggy than the original. The "remastered" aspect of the game does not really shine through anywhere, except for improved lighting that makes for shinier screenshots. Needs a couple to tweaks to properly run on modern hardware because it'll fall apart otherwise.

If you played the original, leave it at that or get that to run, the remaster is not worth buying for you.
If you have not yet played the original and really want this game, you may as well get the remaster, but expect some hassle in order to actually play the game.

A whole lot more of Borderlands, with nice little tweaks. If you liked Borderlands so far, you'll like this as well. If you didn't like Borderlands before, this is not really for you. If you did not play borderlands before this game is for you if you like shooters, crazy humor and grinding for loot.

After an exhausting year with Lightfall, The Final Shape delivered an amazing finale to the Light and Darkness saga. Episodes are not my cup of tea and a lot of people dropping out does not help player retention at the moment.
Still enjoyable in 2024, IMO.

Spent a lot of hours in this game. Very well written story and characters, nice challenging gameplay.

Would recommend.

A worthy finale to the Bioshocl trilogy. More of the same and yet different in so many ways.

Would recommend to all who consider themselves fans of the series or like shooters in general.

All in all the game is great. It brings back almost everything I loved about the original LiS, except the time travel. But the lack of time travel makes the game better in some ways, that you simply have to live with the decisions you made.

Gameplaywise there is not much to say here except that exploring still offers new options, which is really cool.

The story across all three episodes is great, though the storytelling really stepped down in episode 3, especially when compared to episode 2. Overall this does not hurt the game too much, as I still love this game, love the original and will always come back, for another playthrough.

Just finished my first run and I am flatterned. This is my first Telltale Game and I am impressed how well I like the mechanics. I had my concerns about this kind of games because I feared the lack of interaction would get me bored. This is just wrong.

TftB makes the "missing" interaction at all times up with an awesome new story in the Borlderlands universe featuring a lot of old characters as well as a bunch of old characters. The game has classic Borderlands features, counting the humor, the great graphics style and some trolling mechanics.

As I have not played any other Telltale Games I can just give my recommendation as a Borderlands fan. Although this certainly can not fill the gap until the end of 2018 (when the next part of the main series is aimed to be released) it still is a great game for the time in between, also delivering some more story background.
