An absolute masterpiece, BUT far from being fromsoft's best title. gonna list some quick negatives.

- too much filler, reused enemies/bosses
- very spiky and unbalanced difficulty, ♥♥♥♥ spirit ashes (me trying not to write the games too easy)
- having sending gates (teleporters) everywhere ruin the exploration and the open world level design
- unkillable npcs just ruin the damn immersion. why the ♥♥♥♥ even is this a thing?
- having background music outside of bosses was a bad idea, I really liked the atmosphere sounds in previous games.
- the slow walking ghost that shows you caves is really the stupidest most ubisoft design ever, didn't expect from to stoop that low.
- no solo pvp invaions? I never was mainly interested in pvp but it was a great part of the hostile environment and was always a great rush being invaded out of nowhere and having to fight for your life, goodbye to that ♥♥♥♥ now. where every invasion is 1v2. also some very fun areas like the raya lucaria rooftops are totally no-invasion which is stupid.

I really hope froms next game isn't open world and doesn't have spirit summons but ofc it's looking like they will after such success.

some positives
+ great replayability
+ great build variety
+ amazing lore, most characters are exceptionally well written
+ they built upon the previous games play styles really nicely, identified what moves were being overused etc and built the bosses moves to abuse those (love the delayed attacks)
+ the world building is amazing and the best in the series, never have i felt a world as alive as this one. Seeing, hearing about rumors, myths, customs related to some religions/cults/gods in early game and little by little discovering the birthplace of it, and getting to kill that very god feels really amazing.
+ Regal Ancestor Spirit
