David Cage is such an atrocious hack/writer.

If someone tells you it's a good story that's a good enough reason to discount their narrative standards. However, because of the "choose your own adventure" narrative style of the game, there is a way to make it a "fun" story so long as you ask "What would Cage want" and do the exact opposite in most cases. So make the right choice and make Detroit a slightly less inhabitable place in the end than it is in reality. Conner is cool though. Don't be in Detroit tomorrow Conner.
