What a game, so atmospheric. Genuinely didn't want this one to end!

This game is so poorly optimised, with a RX6800xt and ryzen 5800x can barely squeeze 40fps? come on bethesda.
Also another game where the first character you meet is a Wadsworth and in a deserted vault? Think its time to put the franchise to bed, the devs have obviously run out of creative steam. Glad this was just a free weekend. The menu system and the s.p.e.c.i.a.l options are so awkward as well now. 20 mins was really enough play time with this one.

Much more enjoyable at night when all of the aggy teens have gone to bed.

Space Dwarfs, Mining Asteroids, Splattin' bugs. Ye its gud.

Such a smooth, well polished game. Plays like a dream.
I think there are too many weapon variants, brain turns to mush sometimes trying to flick between them all.
It's also very predictable, but it is great fun.

Considering how much i loved FO3 & New Vegas this game was a real disapointment.
It's so easy, once you character is past level 10 the game is a breeze on the hardest difficulty. Every quest that even involves some heavy fighting they give you a mandatory accomplice to take with you, so you don't even get the brunt of the fire.

The map is incredibly boring, the derelict buildings have no back story at all, in previous games there were always terminals or notes or something with story in it that made trawling the wasteland interesting, but not here.

The quests are tedious and un-interesting, in my 90 odd hours of gameplay i'd say the last 10 hours were actually fun to play.

Combat was slightly improved (weapons wheel) but IMO that does not make up for the downfalls.

Also, literally every single locked door has a terminal next to it so you can unlock. whats the point in that. takes all meaning out of finding another way to get in.

Tl;dr What a step back bethesda.

Well worth it. I have an AC Tri band router and AC tri band wifi card in my PC - streams 1080p flawlessly with all devices on good signal strength. If i move the link into a room with lower signal quality it doesn't take much before lag creeps in - Something to bare in mind.

Great for those RPGs where you don't want to be sitting hunched at your desk for hours on end.

Also if you minimize big picture mode (not close it ) you can control you pc as you would normally so its great for streaming films etc. For some reason if you close big picture mode it makes the desktop really laggy - minimizing it instead solves this problem.

Fast paced multiplayer online - addictive zombies - and a neat campaign mode.

Cons - only a handful of multiplayer maps, only one zombie map, campaign wasn't paticuarly long.

Not worth £40 IMO but sale price or key then yes !

Same goes if you liked portal then deffo get Portal 2.
The multiplayer is fun with a friend also!
