My eyes! Everyone involved in adding that blur, TAA smear and chromatic abomination must have been indeed very high. Even if you disable all that garbage and start fiddling with the config files it still looks horrible in motion and makes the game unplayable if you aren't legally blind.

Overall a well made game. Some of the mini games were a bit meh but they can be skipped.

Boring mission design and enemy behavior.

The game-play and especially the weapons aren't much fun right now. I'd recommend to wait for further updates before buying the game.

Simple point and click adventure minigame collection with fun writing, great music and charming characters.

The enemy AI is just total bs in 1.0.

It ain't me, it ain't me

The game didn't improve much compared to the last time I played it on bnet. Even if you ignore all the shenanigans Lizzard pulled with OW2 the game itself just isn't much fun. Trying out all the heroes in the beginning was entertaining but after getting a basic grasp of each one of them the game becomes more and more anti-fun with each match played to the point where you start questioning your life choices when queuing up.

While not required I'd recommend to play the first one before playing the surge 2. 2 is basically more of the same with some minor tweaks and a bit more varied levels.
