Amazing game. The puzzles are tricky enough to make you feel intelligent when cracking them, but mostly accessible enough to solve within just a couple of minutes. Lovely design and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Weird, disorienting, dark, compact. Well worth your time.

Early Access Review
It is Hades. More of Hades. Love it.

As of now, it is in the early stages of Early Access, and it feels more like a complete game than many complete games, in many ways. There is still a lot of content that will be added, that is clear to see, but the main gameplay loop is mature and engaging.

It is one of these roguelikes that I find myself launching almost unconsciously although I've spent quite a bit of time with it already and unlocked almost everything that's not deliberately increasing the difficulty (yes, I'm a Casual with a capital C).

If you like roguelikes, awesome art and voice acting give this one a shot for sure.

This one is a slow burn. Lots of narration, gorgeous landscapes, crazy good sound design and just a lot of atmosphere. It is dark, basically highlighting Senua's suffering and doubt throughout the whole thing, with some glimpses of friendship and acceptance.

It is not a "fun" game. It is not a complex gameplay loop. It is more along the lines of a linear, interactive story. A bit more than a walking simulator, a little less than a traditional game.

The combat design is minimalistic (even moreso than in the first game), the puzzles are fairly straightforward, and we don't see enough interaction with the other characters to truly connect with them, but the haunting & sometimes almost overwhelming visuals & audio, and the overall feeling they evokes are truly unique.

Play if you love strange, deliberately uncomfortable, slightly psychedelic and emotionally draining experiences. Stay away if you want an action-adventure in the traditional sense.

Cards, dopamine, and lost time. One of the most fun games to suck at.

What a ride. Literally.

Unique visual style & atmosphere, gritty universe, some awesome characters, great cutscenes, amazing music and incredibly weird-yet-immediately-familiar movement mechanics.

The combination of grim and cute works surprisingly well. When reading about this, I was afraid it would go into "Happy Tree Friends" territory, but that is not at all what this is. It tugs on your heartstrings, mostly successfully.

Is it flawed? Yes. Ending is rushed, The mechanic with the viscera pouches can be annoying, because it makes death trivial usually (so you rack up lots of viscera), but when you get stuck, you get stuck. And the higher tier upgrades are expensive as anything. The ending feels rushed, especially compared to the quite considerable length and polish of the overall game.

But there's more than enough room for a sequel, which I am very much hoping for and looking forward to!

Great atmosphere & revival of a classic. It strikes an interesting balance of the old-school feel of 90s FMV games and modern VR.

The volumetric recordings feel like actual "video" that you can look at from all perspectives, if that makes any sense - they provide a noticeably different type of experience from flat videos and regular 3d animations. Really cool.

Interaction with objects and puzzles is a bit clunky at times, and overall there is some jank, but considering the comparatively small and large ambition team behind it, this is nothing that spoils the experience as a whole.

The puzzles are, for me, a good balance of being casual enough to solve without hints, while still giving you a sense of having figured out a clever solution, with only one puzzle being a bit tedious.

Overall, well worth the price and a reasonably unique and pretty fun experience.

Great atmosphere, great enemy variety, fun powers. The slightly clunky movement/animations take a couple of minutes to get used to, but don't let that distract you from the fact that this is a super enjoyable Bloodborne-themed Metroidvania. Perfect in scope size (not too small, not too big), slightly obscure but just-enough-to-follow-easily story and pretty awesome music.
