Outriders should be a Game of the Year contender, but it probably will not be because of launch day issues: server connectivity, graphics instability, inventory deleting and progress reset bugs, to name a few. But, the campaign is absolutely fantastic and quite memorable.

I had frustrating moments, especially when an event or boss had two stages and failure in the second stage resulted in a reset to stage one…I know it’s an old common game mechanic, but it is still annoying.

I liked the implementation of the side missions: even though they are sometimes directionally buggy or may not activate when you get to the right location. Going back to the game’s lobby and re-entering the campaign usually fixed the faulty GPS or in-game missing mission start button. The high reward giving Hunt missions were my favorite.

Shooting Enoch’s native fauna and other modified humanoid was very satisfying. The visual and sonic feedback of enemies being dispatched was quite enjoyable.

The Altered in Outriders is a modified human with powerful god-like abilities that would make even Zeus himself wish he had an Assault Rifle that can call down lightning.

Outriders is at times frustrating, but it is also an epic story containing funny and spectacular moments set in environments that truly amaze.

I played Cat Quest after it's been out for over a year. After all the improvements and gameplay enhancements have been added.
Basically, I played a very polished game and it was very enjoyable.

I enjoyed the Cat puns at first, but by about midway thru, I skipped over most of the dialogue and cared only about the action and opening chests.

So, from that standpoint, action and loot, it's awesome. If you like action and loot, get this game.
If you like action, loot and Cat puns, get it today.

The top three Telltale games I have played are: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands.

Tales from the Borderlands has a lot of very funny and charming moments. And a lot of the characters are quite likeable.

However, in typical Telltale fashion, I did not find that my choices made a difference. So, I just pressed the B button for everything, and ended up where I thought the game was going anyway...

It is a very solid and entertaining Telltale game. Not over-written and filled with fluff, like Batman: The Enemy Within.
Highly recommended.

If you get a chance to play it, Just Cause 4 is a very fun game.
The game crashes almost every time I start it, but after restart, it plays fine for about 3 hrs. Then I lose game sound and the graphics go pre-historic...that most times require a system reboot.

But, the three hours between first crash and hard reset, are very enjoyable. There aren't as many things to destroy as in Just Cause 3. And having to keep the 2X XP meter running to get maximum chaos points, is quite a drag.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w85uAqXj2Q4

2X XP meter = making sure enemy has sights on you, so that when you destroy stuff, you get double XP...
And those XP points add up to give you squad reserves, which move the frontline on the battlefield.

Basically just let the bad guys chase me around the base, and keep that 2X XP status on, while I destroy stuff. I realized this after 20 hours in...

Besides that silliness, sometimes the objectives are hard to find, because the objective indicator can be very misleading.
Item you are looking for is on your level, to the right. But once you enter building, objective indicator points to the third floor...

Also some of the missions (Defend the Transmitter and explosive packed cars) need re-balancing. Because their requirements either exceed reality or require luck to complete, after several maddening retries.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uygsd4szrsM

But if you avoid those missions and keep your Chaos 2X XP meter active, you will have a lot of fun playing this game. Wingsuiting is phenomenal. The Grenade Launcher and Mine Launcher are two of the best weapons ever, in any FPS.
The Grapple hook and CC10 Shotgun are also great. I have not unlocked the portable Windgun yet, but it looks quite fun.

If you can get this game for $30 or less, its quite worth it. Hopefully, you are lucky like me, and get a chance to play at least 40 hours. It's quite fun.

Good start, great ending with a lot of fluff in between. Too much fluff.
It would've been better as a three episode installment.
I rate this as a B+, because the middle parts dragged.

Resident Evil 7 is a very entertaining and scary game.
Every member of the Baker family is creepy, and a lot of the encounters are quite memorable.
The puzzles were well done, and I especially liked how the video replay system was used, to not only tell the story, but give you clues.
It was a great experience for me, and I am not a fan of scary games. But I enjoyed this game a lot, it was totally worth the purchase. 10/10.
Here is some of my gameplay from later in the game:

Wow! Just wow!
Top notch concurrent story and lot's of action puts you inside the world of Game of Thrones.

As good as the HBO show, and comparable to The Walking Dead Telltale Season 1, in terms of overall quality. This game has several of the main actors from the show doing voice work.

Just like the TV show, you are concerned about your favorite characters and whether they will die. And since you are invested, you try to circumvent the inevitable, the unavoidable.

But this is Game of Thrones and you can't save all your favorites.
It's a perfect replica of and addition to the TV show.

So, if you love the TV show, you will love this game.

I played this game many times in the year 1999 and 2000s, before Steam, so disregard the hrs on record.

Opposing Force is basically Half-Life: 1.5. And it is the greatest expansion ever created.
This game is Gearbox's second best work, behind the original Borderlands.

Half-Life: Opposing Force is Half-Life through the eyes of a different, but capable protagonist.
The game contains one of my favorite weapons of all time, the Desert Eagle.
The animation, firing and laser sight sound activation on this weapon, is sublime.

Half-Life: Opposing Force is the third best game in the Half-Life Universe. Only Half-Life 1 and 2 are better.

There are three Firefalls...
The original, which was absolutely fantastic. 1000+ hrs of pure fun. Thumping, crafting, shooting, gliding, riding, raiding and exploring.

Then there is Firefall #2, the current Firefall, which scrapped the original Firefall, and reset, re-ballanced everything and turned the game into junk.

The third Firefall is the Firefall we fans hoped the game would turned into, and it never happened. We wanted improvements on the orginal. Mainly graphical, texture and server side stuff to eradicate crashes and bugs. But it wasnt to be.

The game developer went thru some changes on the business side, and the game content suffered because of this when they implemented their new vision.

It's a shame the original Firefall no longer exist, because it was quite a glide. I still stop by now and again, like a sad puppy waiting for his owner to come home, and just like that puppy, I get no joy. Thumbs down to current Firefall, Thumbs up for the memories.

When I initially played it at release, there was some stuttering when driving, which I am assuming must've been fixed by now in 2017.
And having to use the Batmobile on every mission was a chore...
With that said, I still remember this game fondly because when Batman is outside the Batmobile, the game comes alive and is so much fun to play.
It is the most ambitious Batman game to date and the closest to being in an actual Batman movie.
