Good 'ol Randy's saga continues, the expansion by itself is a good idea, definitely a neat concept, the items added to the game are both good and bad which is alright for games like RoR where randomness and item variety is key.
However, the game's performance became worse, the new elites introduced in this expansion are pretty much two varieties of the same flavor of "don't interact", which is fundamentally opposite to RoR as a whole.
The thorns elites are so bad and irredeemable that they deserve their own point, if not be the whole reason you shouldn't buy this DLC: On top of the previously stated "don't interact" approach they bring to the game, they are the most mind numbing loop stoppers and single handedly invalidate a huge portion of the in-game items simply because if you have even the slightest bit of AoE items or abilities, you're bound to die in the blink of an eye, heck, the elites themselves might not even see you when you kill yourself for them. Horrible idea, terrible performance and downright ruining the bread and butter of the game, thanks Randy.
Honestly, since I already sunk enough time into this DLC I'll keep playing with it's contents, but at the state it is in right now I highly encourage anybody considering this purchase to reconsider, buy drugs instead or something.

Although it is an early access game it has great potential, the parry timing is a tiny bit iffy but is very rewarding, being able to pay with gold or with blood for items and artifacts or straight up stats is a good risk/reward mechanic and all in all I can't wait to see more of what's to come

It has waifus and is fun, although RNGesus is a cruel mistress
