It's more Borderlands, which I love. If you didn't like the previous ones I doubt you'll like this, but I love it. Pretty much everything but the story is improved from 2; they had an uphill climb trying to even meet the story of the main campaign from the second game, but they made a valiant effort here. Don't expect it to be something it's not and you'll enjoy it.

I have purchased Borderlands 2 on 3 separate platforms (XBox 360, PC, and PS4) a total of 4 times (bought my friend a copy for the PS4 as well). This game is one of my go-to games for just having fun, especially when playing with other people. I have logged an insane number of hours in to this particular game and even more for the series as a whole. While there may be games that do the FPS mechanics better, it's not by much, and this game has the story and humor to keep me coming back for more. It really started to shine in the DLC, particularly Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, but it's many, many hours of insane fun.

*Note* I mostly played on XBox 360 back in the day, doing couch co-op with my roommate at the time.

I've never been a huge fan of roguelikes, but FTL really won me over; it's super easy to pick up the basics, but it will definitely take awhile to master. I figured I'd be done with it after a couple hours, but I've logged a ton of time in it (more than I probably should have).

Loved it. Amazing story, quality gameplay, and great art style.
