I have just finished my first year in Roots of Pacha and it has been a wonderful experience so far! Roots of Pacha is a stone-age farming sim, where you can discover different types of crops, tame a bunch of animals and breed them, mine, contribute to the tribe to improve the community, date/marry Pachans and other Villagers of different Clans and have children.

Farming is completely optional in this game and you are given a good amount of land that you can use for farming or ranching. Crafting for items doesn’t feel too grindy. The mining aspect is pretty good. There is no combat in the mines which makes the experience chill. You can discover challenging puzzles and totems to advance further. The range of animals that you can tame is impressive. The ranching is not hard and simple. The events that take place in the game are super interactive and make you feel like you’re part of the community.

The clan is constantly developing ideas to improve. I love how it gives that tight-knit feel of being in a community. There is no deadline for completing these ideas, so you can go at your own pace without feeling rushed.

What I love about this game are the details. The cut scenes with the romanceable characters are well done. You can see the character development once you get closer to them. The game also gives you the option to date multiple people simultaneously, so I think it’s great if you can’t decide who to romance since there are plenty of them. However, you only get to marry one person. I’ve also read online that breaking up with a character has consequences, which is great for the realism aspect. (I haven’t done that personally) The NPCs are great to interact with as well.

My only gripe with this game is the clothing limitations. I hope in future updates they get to add more recipes for clothing since there aren’t that many to begin with. Besides that, I think the game is perfect.

Roots of Pacha has easily become one of my all-time favourite farming sims and I can’t recommend this enough! I highly urge you to play this if you love the farming sim genre. Happy farming fellow Pachans!

What an excellent point and click adventure game! It is one of the few point and click games I have played thus far, that are dialogue-driven. Superb writing, intuitive puzzles and the art is amazing.

My green thumb is satisfied!! Plant Therapy is such a cute and addicting game. You'll be feeding and watering all your plants. After each day your plants will drop money/gems, which you can use to buy even more plants, furniture and artwork for your apartment. Once night time hits your plants will glow in different colours. It's super relaxing since the game is no stress.
It's a cozy and peaceful game! Would highly recommend if you're a plant addict c:

TW - suicide, self-harm & depression. Please only play this if you're mentally in the right headspace.

Oh man, I hate how late this was recommended to me. This is a hauntingly good visual novel. What I love about it is how detailed and raw the story is. The subtle messages throughout the story hit me deeply. Had to cry, felt too real.

Check on your friends/loved ones. I know I will.

I've had this game on my wishlist for a while now and was so excited after watching the trailer. I really like how professional the voice acting was and the visuals were nice. I liked the mother-daughter relationship between Tess and Opal.

The initial storyline was a bit mediocre and some cut scenes did feel like it was filler. The ending had a twist I didn't expect, but the build up towards that could've been executed better. The choices didn't really feel like it was necessary since they truly didn't matter much and affect the story in any significant way. I'm quite disappointed by how short this game is. Sadly, for these reasons, I can't recommend the game.

Meowjiro is a cute little game where you play as a clerk working at a Konbini (Japanese Convenience store). You'll be replenishing shelves, cleaning up after customers (and dogs), make bentos and ice cream. With the money you've earned you can upgrade your house, unlock power ups and take care of your cats. If you make mistakes while playing, it's fine since the penalties aren't that big. You'll get the money back in no time.

The gaming mechanics are super easy. The aesthetics are adorable. If you like supermarket simulators, then this one is for you! Overall a great game to crunch in some playtime!

Dave the Diver has been such a beautiful underwater experience. The exploration of sea life has been tense but oh-so mesmerizing. You may think, “Oh, it’s just a chill fishing game with some restaurant management.” Initially, it may seem like that, but once you dive deeper, you’re in for a ride.

This game is such a unique one in its roguelike genre. It piggybacked little ideas from other games and was incorporated into the game very well. The storyline of the game is simple to follow. There are plenty of quests to keep you occupied while exploring the ocean. After you’ve done a few quests/fishing rounds, you’ll be earning some cash to make the restaurant better and upgrade your diving gear and farm. You’ll encounter many characters like VIP guests, scientists, pirates and sea peoplethat will appear as you progress throughout the game. The overall gaming mechanics can be quite tricky to get a hang of at first, but once you play around with it for a bit, it will be addicting. The game also references plenty of memes, so keep a lookout for those. ;)

So far the developers have released 2 free DLCs since its launch, Dredge and the Godzilla content pack being the most recent. I’m looking forward to more content in the future! Overall Dave the Diver is such a gem of a game and I highly recommend you to play it.
