To be honest the nostalgia reference undersells the hell out of the game but I gotta admit they nailed that part. It’d be a crime to not acknowledge how great the atmosphere and puzzles of this game are. I’m a sucker for the setting too. Spooky theme park, great puzzles and just oozing charm.

This game is more than just a great homage. It’s a great game full stop. As of May this is my 2024 game of the year. It could be dethroned with 7 months remaining but for now I can’t say I’d recommend anything else I’ve played this year more than Crow Country. It’s just great fun. Definitely gonna be playing it again this Halloween.
