A really nice game for fans of A Short Hike.
It doesn't feel original coming after it, though. It clearly states it's inspired by it, but it doesn't really add much to it. The first minutes were *really* hard for me, I was this close to getting a refund -- no background music generally (and when there's some, it's not too thrilling), no teleportation (although you can unlock a --very slow-- balloon to move around the island in the endgame), and the character moved at a snail's pace. You really should save your SPs to unlock the athletic skill after two level-ups. It makes the game playable and enjoyable, as opposed to annoying. One other issue I have is that it really seems like a prototype for a management game, but there's absolutely no point in doing more than the bare minimum asked to progress through the game. I'm sure you can ignore all camps, and happily go through all camps until you finish the game after a couple hours.
Also, but I can only speak for the French version, it's full of typos and spelling mistakes. It hurts.
Fabien, if you're reading this, please let me fix your text files...

This game would usually get an 8 or 9/10 from me, but the aforementioned issues keep it away from greatness, for now. But at least it doesn't overstay its welcome. 7/10
