Positives:
- absolutely gorgeous visuals, truly stunning planetary vistas and a world design that is consistent with the age of the story
- seriously, I wish Starfield had a tenth of these vistas
- great (& haunting) music
- a good show of the story
- encountered two bugs during playthrough (game-machine interaction broke, and I was blinded at a transition that resolved after moving forward a bit.)

Neutral:
- it's a 99% walking sim
- it's really not some epic tale of murdering aliens in the name of humanity or some other Mary Sue pwoer-fantasy.
- GPU perf seems good enough, on my 2080ti gets 50-70fps on 3440x1440 epic without help. With DLSS quality, limited to 60 fps (this is not a fast-paced game), I got maybe 50% utilization and rock steady 60.

Negatives:
- the interactions can be clumsy and buggy with mouse + keyboard
- some timed interactions (conversation interjections) are maybe a bit too fast
- the walking speed is slooooooooow
- give me a flashlight please
- FoV is 90 max, which is narrow for ultrawide (at least head-bob is disabled by default)
- Some stuff in the lore regarding technological weirdness, like having FTL but still using transparencies for what is basically a security cam record. Slightly annoying when something otherwise close enough to hard scifi requires suspension of disbelief.

They said they plan on a VR release, which I'm very much for. Also, dozens of these vistas would be absolutely great for SteamVR home / ChatVR backdrops.

@Atnas:
I'd say... as it's a 10 hour game, and the VR portion is not yet ready, for most it's a "wait for a sale / price cut". For €10-15, it would be a deal. I wish there was a post-game "explore the scenes" mode besides the limited benchmark.

If it gets the VR option, €20.

If you want to support the devs that are creating something from an unusual source, €30. Full disclosure: I bought the full (game+ost+artbook) pack for €28price on GMG at launch, as the idea of a Lem story brought to life resonated with me, I liked the artstyle and the music. And had some money to spare.

For the price, is it really worth it? 30€ for me is a lot to drop on a walking sim, I feel.

tl;dr: most stunningly best looking Walking sim since Dear Esther.

(Yes, Firewatch is good, but cartoonish and low-poly and this is trying to be on the realistic end)
