this game sucks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass. i'm a huge borderlands fan who loves the characters and story and etc. and this game disappoints on ALL FRONTS.

characters? what characters? almost all the characters (in the base game) are either ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one note jokes that gets repeated to damn much OR they were shot to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ death and reanimated to spout garbage at nausium, in some cases they are literally killed off (one by your own hand how nice). the only good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ characters are behind a DAMN PAYWALL. IN A 60 DOLLAR GAME.

story? the most convoluted and boring ♥♥♥♥ imaginable. the characters (if you can even call them that) do the most stupid ♥♥♥♥ just to allow the villain to win and they ACT like the villain planned all of this. not to mention that they shoe-horned in a big evil megacorporation because "OH THE LAST TWO MADE YOU FIGHT THE GUN MANUFACTURES' and they threw in maliwan, not because it makes sense or anything, but because they got it in spin the bottle or some crap. everything in this game ignores and even ♥♥♥♥♥ on the logic and lore of the previous three games.

gameplay? pretty solid actually! when you're allowed to play that is! the gameplay is horrifically hampered by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful pacing and story decisions. (to simplify, talk to lilith, navigate ship, talk to lilith, see drop pod, talk to lilith, go down drop pod, have fun murdering enemies for 15 minnutes, go back to ship, talk to lilith. repeat)

dont buy this ♥♥♥♥ game, buy bl2, the pre sequel, and bl1. you will have infinitely more replayability in any of these games. dont make the same mistake as me

it is a really nice. very frun

gameplay is amazing and rewarding. the hats are sexy as ♥♥♥♥. and the characters are amazingly likeable!


although it could do a better job of teaching new players.... hey newbies pro tip! watch youtube guides to learn how to not die instantly
