If you're looking at reviews for this game, look no further. This game is truly a timeless gem; made at the peak of Telltale's success, made with soul, love, passion, originality, and is what I believe to be, the definitive telltale experience. I heard about this game in the Xbox 360 days, when PewDiePie was playing it for the first time, and when I saw it I knew this would be one of my favorites of all time (I was 10 and I saw a wolfman smoking with a hooker). This game's art style is 1 of 1, not like the walking dead, or any other game they've come out with. Telltale blended a different take on their own style with a neo noir New York aesthetic set in the 2000's, and it creates an immersive atmosphere oozing with mystery paired up with it's run on DC's "Fables".

You play as Bigby Wolf, AKA The Big Bad Wolf, AKA the wolf in sheep's skin, AKA okay I think you get the point; you play as the WOLF. And as the wolf, you are detective/sheriff who keeps law and order to all fables residing in a subcity of New York, Fable Town. Each fable who lives here is just like any other person with money problems, side hustles, secrets to keep, and bosses to answer to. It's your job to crack a case that starts on your front doorstep, literally. Problem is, since you're the wolf; a lot of people don't take kindly to you being the one with the authority, so you will be tested. Will you just be the big bad wolf everyone knows you are deep down inside, or will you use the law to show them that you're not who they say you are?

I've played majority of Telltale games, and I still believe their multiple choice system holds up best in The Wolf Among Us. There are many different dialogue paths, and many characters in a room at once so it offers a lot of variety as to who you choose to prioritize or agree with in conversation, and good deeds and bad deeds actually have weight if chosen. The part that is very impressive to me is how well they use the silent choice in this title. There will be moments in conversation where you actually want to use it, as it may keep you from divulging information you don't want to give out to people, or keep bigby from blowing up minor conflict between other people. Staying silent in this game actually has weight, in most other telltale games like batman and further seasons of the walking dead, there is just blank stares between characters for about 5 seconds before they go back to automatic scripting.

Lastly is just a warning that I did have some minor bugs, nothing a main menu exit and save reload didn't fix. I seriously recommend you play this game, there's nothing like it. If it's on sale, even more the reason. Until we meet again, Bigby.
