i would pay £30 for this game. very very good.

I'm amazed with the stealth and combat mechanics in this game. if youre trying to be stealthy and an enemy walks round the corner and spots you the game transforms into a fast paced action movie. the movement is so fluid and finding a truck to dive under or a wall to squeeze through when your getting chased is great. shooting enemies isnt straight forward as there is alot of sway especially if youve just been running so hitting a good head shot is very satisfying.

i would recomend playing the game on hard difficulty as its a decent challenge but the main enjoyment to be had with the higher difficulties is that they dont give you much ammo at all. i usually have around 3-5 bullets on me at anytime. this makes you think of how you can use the enviroment to your advantage and it makes you choose a smarter way to play which is rewarding when you pull something smart off.

if you kill an enemy and another finds their body they scream their name in agony which adds depth to the ai, so killing them has alot more depth compared to a bland npc in any other game.

the game looks and performs great. a few minor frame drops occasionally but nothing too bad or distracting.

the games story is decent so far in my 7 or so hours of play time, a bit preachy here and there but its not as bad as some people claim it is. i do however think that the first game was more effective in its story telling with the bond between joel and ellie compared to this game, i have yet to complete it however.
