Been playing SurrounDead for a bit now, and I’ve got to say, it’s a solid experience for early access. There’s definitely fun to be had. Base building is pretty enjoyable and feels rewarding once you start expanding. Gunplay is solid, and I’ve had a great time exploring the map. Finding hidden POIs and running into random events like bandits makes the world feel alive and unpredictable.

The POIs themselves are well done — always worth looting, and the infected zones are a great risk/reward system. I especially like that the bandit AI tries to flank you instead of just charging in. Makes gunfights feel a bit more tactical, which is cool.

Now for the rough spots — and yeah, there are a few. Base building can get a bit tedious, especially when you’re trying to make wooden walls and realize rope is way too hard to make. Also, aiming guns at close range (especially with zombies right in your face) just feels weird. It gets awkward fast. I also noticed some of the legendary weapons don’t really feel that strong — I had better luck with some of the common ones, though maybe I just got unlucky with the loot rolls. And also bandit aim? Way too accurate. Feels like they’ve got laser eyes sometimes.

As far as future content, I’d love to see roaming zombie hordes added — it’d raise the tension a lot. Would also be awesome if your base could be attacked by zombies or bandits. That kind of pressure would give base building more purpose. Boats would be cool for exploring if the map keeps expanding. A big, challenging zombie boss that drops rare loot would be an awesome addition. And it’d be great to have more base power options — solar panels, wind, anything other than just gas. Oh, and a dog companion. That’d just be awesome. Give us a good boy to watch our back.

So yeah, despite a few annoyances, I’m enjoying the game. It’s got a ton of potential, and I’m looking forward to future updates. Definitely worth checking out if you like survival games.

good game to play solo if you are a crafter but the guild content is the best 7/10

i have over 500 hours on ps4 and now im a PC player and its 10 times better

10 out of 10 must play

i love the game but you have to find what game modes you like

some good modes to play are prop hunt, dark rp, death run, TTT and zombie rp

love this game 9 out of 10 i would be 10 out of 10 but the hackers can be bad at times but over all the best game out there
