I bought this game without too many expectations because I really wanted to play a "modern" Sonic game again. And I must say I was not disappointed. Once you get into the open world island principle, the game is really addictive and on top of that you get tons of levels ala "Sonic Generations" and some nice boss fights. I really liked the soundtrack, I would love to buy it (or stream it on Spotify. Just nominated for the Steam Arwards!). The puzzles are fun and not too challenging. ;)

Sonic Frontiers is not without its flaws. There is some ugly pop-in from time to time and a few minor camera problems. It's also a shame that the framerate is limited to 60 fps. And then there's Denuvo. That really shouldn't be there. Still, it's a game I can recommend to all Sonic fans. My favorite Sonic game is "Sonic Mania" closely followed by "Sonic Generations" and that probably puts this game in third place. :)
