My Elden Ring review

The positives

+Excellent world with the best exploration out of any game ever
+Fantastic visuals and animations
+Some great and visually stunning bosses
+Diverse builds
+Great movement. Jumping and crouching specifically made the game much more enjoyable than Dark Souls 3
+The 2nd best horse riding out of any game (still 5/10)
+Legacy dungeons have amazing level design
+Lots of content
+Doesn't take much disk space
+Great combat and normal enemies + generally good hitboxes
+Great customization
+Memorable characters for a FromSoftware game
+Lovely artstyle
+Some of the best looking armor and weapons from any game
+Amazing atmosphere
+Amazing visual design for almost all enemies & bosses
+Spirit ashes were a stroke of genius. They add an another layer of depth into the Dark Souls combat system

The negatives

-The optimization (super bad)
-The camera doesn’t work very well
-The horse combat
-The entire late game (Mountaintops of The Giants)
-Forgettable soundtrack
-Bad rewards for exploration usually
-Repetitive bosses (the bosses are still okay in general, but for a boss focused game it’s disappointing how few unique bosses there are. The reusing of bosses also drags down some of the original fights)
-No lip movement animations
-No proper story and quests (not a flaw necessarily, just my own preference)
-No new content type by the end game. It's the same evergaols, caves and dungeons for the whole game
-Combat is pretty much the only gameplay activity that can be found in the game, but luckily that combat is good
-Coming from Dark Souls 3, some of the main bosses were quite disappointing and low quality mechanically
-Too many delayed attacks
-Some enemies make it feel like playing a strength build is invalid
-No pause button????

Score: 9.0/10, 7.5/10 if performance taken into account

My God of War review

The positives

+Fantastic story with excellent cutscenes and voice acting
+Great level design in linear areas
+The best combat out of any game ever
+Pretty good world for a semi-open world game
+Amazing, different moves in combat
+Excellent final boss
+Good characters, Kratos being especially good
+Pretty good side quests
+Great graphics
+ Well made PC-port
+Exploration is good and well-rewarded


The negatives
-Janky movement
-Not a memorable soundtrack
-Extremely repetitive enemies and bosses
-The world isn't that beautiful
-Doesn't have a real open world (my own preference)
-The world isn't really alive (my own preference)
-Bad replayability
-The endgame sidecontent is mindless and low quality

My Assassin's Creed Odyssey review

The positives

+Beautiful world in a lot of places
+Good graphics
+Some great sidequest lines
+Excellent feeling of progression/getting stronger
+Memorable and fun characters
+Lots of content, though a lot of it is pretty bad content
+SOME great moments of exploration
+Sometimes really funny comedy-wise
+Not very buggy
+The ingame map menu is really beautiful, although a bit cluttered

The negatives

-The main story is kind of stupid
-The combat, enemies and bosses are all bad + damage sponges
-The AI is horrible
-Most sidequests are boring, filler garbage
-The world is too similar looking for most of it
-The voice acting is horrible
-Most of the open world content is worthless
-The exploration is rarely interesting
-The horse riding is vomit-inducing
-The stealth and parkour are a disgrace for an Assassin's Creed game
-Bad optimization
-Boring gameplay mechanics
-The animations of NPCs are just bad

My Cyberpunk 2077 review

The positives

+The most visually stunning gaming world, ever
+The best combat out of any first person RPG
+Big build variety
+Masterclass dialogue & voice acting
+Some of the best sidequests & sidequest lines in any game, only rivaled by The Witcher 3
+Extremely funny comedy-wise
+Main story is good
+The characters are amazing
+Silk smooth, truly well made animations a lot of the time
+Great movement
+Pretty well optimized for the PC (from my experience)
+Pretty much every quest has depth and there are no badly made, mindless filler quests
+Great soundtrack
+Great customization
+Excellent atmosphere
+Amazing weapon design
+Amazing weapon variety gameplay wise and visually
+Good progression, you really feel like you get much stronger
+NPCs are extremely well designed visually
+The cars are extremely well designed and the interiors of them are much higher quality than in any other game
+Being able to text message the characters adds more depth and interactions in a simple way
+Great endings
+Probably the best photomode out of any game

The negatives

-The game is still janky and doesn't feel very polished (may be improved upon further with future patches)
-The main story is too short
-Although it's a big and lengthy game, it doesn't have that much content when compared to the likes of The Witcher 3, Skyrim and RDR2
-The AI is pretty bad
-The world doesn't feel very alive because there isn't much to interact with
-The gameplay mechanics aren't very good and there are not enough of them
-The NCPD scanner hustles are mostly the same, and apart from some level design differences, all play out in the same way, with the only exception being your build. It's pretty mindless content
-Animations can be a bit bugged
-Texture loading can be quite jarring
-While most of the bugs are minor and don't interfere with the gameplay, some of them are still quite annoying and harm your experience (this may be improved upon in the future as well)
-Shadows are pretty bad and glitchy a lot of the time
-NPCs and cars spawning and despawning when you look away from them breaks immersion a lot

My Assassin's Creed 2 review

The positives

+Amazing main character
+Great main story
+Very well-made and sizeable open world, especially for a 2009 game
+One of the best soundtracks of any game ever
+Ridiculously much better than the first Assassin's Creed
+Amazing animations and cutscenes for a 2009 game
+One of the best atmospheres for any game
+Many extremely fun and imaginative main missions
+A good amount of side content

The negatives

-Many of the characters in the main story are not very well developed
-Somewhat clunky combat, but forgivable for a 2009 game
-Clunky parkour
-The in-game map is like 20fps and opening it feels jarring every time
-The pacing of the story feels off in the end-game
