Most negative reviews are about being banned or suspended but truth be told, if you don`t wanna get banned, don't try to hack your way into the game. I've been playing more than 800hrs on it (on my x360) and i've never had a problem with my account. Just play by the online rules and you'll be fine.

If modders (cheaters/hackers) drop money on you, it's by amounts of max 2K and if it happens and you stay there accepting their "gifts", yes you might get banned. But then again, if you play by the rules, it's a freaking amazing game. It has won 2 Steam awards this year and it's not for nothing. Worth every penny, and i've bought it multiple times (x360, PS4 and PC).

If you report online cheaters, R* will even send you some money from times to times.

Oh and the SP is quite amazing as well. I heavily modded my offline game for LSPDFR and it's like R* intended the game to be modded. It becomes an entirely other game, but you have to remain offline.

Bottom line: both SP and MP are freaking nice.
