Hello Games made som huge mistakes that someday we'll now the entire scope of them, with an overhype and an absolute trainwreck of a game that after the huge storm it became a niche game for some small group, radio silence was a weird decision, but the right path, they decided to update in silence, added some stuff that were cool but not great, another update came and again, cool stuff and some minor changes, all in silence until very few hours from the update.

After the huge deal the ARG was to keep the atention on the game and probably gain some time they release Atlas Rises, they have proved that their work is taking form and after the backslash they didn't abandoned the game, it is still not the game promised, but is going in the right direction, Atlas Rises added lore, missions (not really big missions but they made you do a good variety of things)

about the ''sameness'' of the generation, it has improved, yet planets are still monobiomes and not incredibly fun to explore after a while because you see the same, i hope it is addresed in some update someday, also could improve the condition on planets based on some stellar variables, like distance from the sun, and add some Gaseous Giants to give it a bigger feel

Multiplayer: not done yet, but they added some minor stuff that starts to feel like it have multiplayer, and in some memo from the patchnotes, seems like they are working on some real multiplayer, or something close

Quality of life changes has improved a lot, yet still lacks some things, animations on menus makes them feel slow, but they have been improved with tabs, discovery views and a Guide inside the game (that was a good adition)

there is like or dislike button for this reviews, so im saying here, im giving the game a 6/10 because it has shown that is not abandoned by the devs, and if updates keep coming, this game will clean part of the disaster it was a year ago
