How long can you survive when everyone is out to get you?

I bought Borderlands 1 & 2, all the DLC, the Pre-Sequal and was in the Battleborn beta but they ignored all the feedback on Battleborn.

They never fixed matchmaking, item drops or gfx performance because they were too busy adding microtransactions and ugly skins to an $80 game (with Season Pass) and now they want to push an update that Steam says needs 30G to install but doesn't fix any of the complaints people have made for the past year.

Do you know what happens when you make a patch that doesn't fix anything but takes 30G to install?

People delete your game and tell everyone how clueless your company is.

Unless the people in charge are fired, I'll never buy another product from this company.

Produces programs that run in a tiny window and crash in fullscreen.

Even though I paid, they erased my stuff without warning and gave me this instead.

Hi-Rez installs their own root level service. Remember the expensive class action Sony lost for installing rootkits? Their shrink wrap EULA didn't save them.

Hi-Rez advises people to turn off their UAC, anti-virus and firewall. Is that advice bad enough to be held liable? It's right there on their website.

Hi-Rez installs Flash. Did you see the latest list of Flash exploits? Pretty much their entire history they've been enabling malware and exploits.

Hi-Rez and anyone else who installs malware like programs and gives malware enabling advice should be suspended from Steam until they remove the offending code. Repeat offenses should result in a ban. That's what Apple and Google do to keep their market clean.

For the record, I love Tribes 1 & 2. Ascend used to be OK but had input lag even on a 4GHz machine. Unfortunately, the new patch nerfs defense so bad it turns Ascend into a bum rush & spawn camping game like 99% of the other online games. The armor configuration method is also incredibly bad, resembling a Towers of Hanoi puzzle to select the items you want in the slots you want with many classic combinations blocked entirely. Many better configuration systems exist in other games going back to the 80s. All they had to do was copy one.

This game has gfx options like toon shading, shadows and anti-aliasing that can be turned on by manually editing the INI file.

The developer should revise the default settings for the PC version and add these options to the in game configuration.

I got it on sale for less than the cost of the cards so I was able to buy it at a profit.

Great game but has a few invisible walls and forced cut scenes.

As you play this one, remember to use the environment items.

The sequal to one of the best games of all time is also one of the best games of all time.
