I pre-purchased this, anticipated its release. Then I played it. After 10 minutes, I realized what I had purchased. However, on the positive, I did learn a valuable lesson for a mere $14.99:

I don't care how enticing the trailers, demos, Steam descriptions, or any other mediums of promotion for ANY game appear to be, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HYPE. Watch and read not just one, but MULTIPLE first impressions, reviews, or walkthroughs to acquire a genuine, multi-facted perspective on a game upon it's release BEFORE you pay for it.

This game is an example that really didn't receive much publication or advertisement, but one I purchased on impulse, because I liked what I saw and read. I consider myself relatively conservative when it comes to spending MONEY (not talking politics), and after playing this, I could have just thrown $15 in a public toilet and flushed it, and it would evoke the same feelings.

I realize that this certainly isn't much of an objective review as it is a digressive rant on pre-purchasing video games.

much game. such zombie. so wow.

This game is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than Diablo 3. Path of Exile is what Diablo 3 should have been. This is free. Download it. Play it. NOW. It's a great game.

Excellent game. Not perfect, but mechanics and A.I. are improved since the original Metro 2033. If you're a fan of post apocalyptic settings and enjoy stealthy gameplay, buy this game.

was 2.50. go for it if you're feeling nostalgic. otherwise don't bother.
