Nice art, nice music, weird puzzles and most importantly stupid story. I know the story is supposed to be goofy but it's really the worst part of the game.

One of the best exploration games out there with an excellent story and environment. This is the type of game where you should start blind without any previous knowledge of the game. The mystery, surprises and the random encounters make it an excellent sea adventure game.

I didn't expect much when I started but I sure didn't expect an indie masterpiece that it turned out to be! I want more games like this to learn history.

This is the best single-player story campaign I have ever experienced and this is the most immersive open world game I have ever played. I think we get games like this once in a decade.

All of the positive reviews for "Doki Doki Literature Club" revolve around a single dark twist after four hours of boring gameplay.
I am not a simp, so I do not think this game is for me.
What a waste of time!

The concept is brilliant! I love the fast-paced combat and the strategic options for character builds. I don't know why everyone is saying that the game is infested with cheaters. I haven't personally encountered any cheater yet.
However, there are some issues such as the game glitches too much, guns get stuck sometimes, competitive matchmaking is not fair etc. But overall, it's a pretty enjoyable game.

I spent my childhood playing gamelofts Gangstar games on java phone. They were pretty much inspired by GTA I and II. So, these type of top-down open world games are nostalgic to me. Recently I played Retro city rampage which was amazing and was full of 80's and 90's references. After playing that one, Shakedown: Hawaii feels a little disappointing but it's not actually that bad. May be my expectations were high.

The positives:

[+] Sarcastic story-line that makes fun of modern business practices
[+] Nice soundtracks

The Negatives:
[-] Lack of depth and challenge in missions {I don't like difficult games but this game is way too easy to be enjoyable}
[-] Story is not engaging enough (Characters are not interesting)
[-] No references like Retro City Rampage
[-] Something feels off when the cops are chasing. (You must fight them and they'll suddenly stop coming. Trying to lose them is not an option with normal cars) Also cops are so easy to fight off that after playing for 10 minutes you'll start ignoring them.
[-] The money making system feels imbalanced and weird
[-] Almost everything in this feels unfinished
[-] Too Repetitive (You just drive here and there and shoot)

I had fun for about an hour and a half. But still I'm recommending this game as there's no other game like this available anymore (Other than Retro City Rampage).

- Poor graphics (It's hard to see anything)
- Terrible NPC AI (Innocents should be running away from me, not towards me)
- No story at all
- Clunky gameplay
- Bad respawning system
- Very bland and repetitive

It's fun for an hour or two but it gets repetitive really quick. I feel like the devs should have put a little more effort into this game. The gore concept was really interesting.
