Oh well, I think that Conan Exiles is what Valheim wishes it was, if it had actual bruatlity. Where other games, maybe not at a first glance, but afterall chill and cozy, Conan is unforgiving, punishing and raw I guess. Survival feels real. You don't only gather wood, you're literally fightring for every damn sip of water. Building is deep, combat is weighty and the world is hostile but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's so rewarding. If you want a true survival challenge with stakes this is what you're looking for. No babysitting, no handholding. Great game

You may like it or not but this is how the peak of gaming looks like. It brings back the golden era of pure adventure, no handholding, no silly tips, no crafting, collecting wood, apples and rest of the BS. It's just you, the ruins, and your wits. Games like this don’t get made anymore, and that’s a damn shame.

Definetly a lot of things to address and beware of those who overdosed hopium.

Let me start with the good:
* Car handling seems pretty good, even surprisingly good
* FFB also seemed pretty nice. Even tho there are no cars to test it really, apart of few road ones, I give it the benefit of the doubt.
* Lightning is definetly improved compared to both AC and ACC

And that would it be for now when it comes to the good. Let's consider all of the downsides of the game:

* Clunky UI - it feels unresponsive, clunky and simply weird. It also looks so much outdated
* VR Performance - running my VR (Quest 2) on R7 5800x / 64gb ram / 4080s and generally, no matter the settings can't hit 72hz which are the bare minimum. Mind, that in ACC I can easily run with high/epic settings with my VR, field full of cars and play on 90Hz with still, not 100% gpu usage.
* Questionable game design decisions. Cars available only within some driving school mode? Since when AC is Gran Tourismo inspired? Why on earth, anyone would be willing to perform some silly tasks in order to get into specific cars. We're not kids, don't treat us like we're ones.
* Did I mention the performance? In my opinion, this game looks bad. It's just a Assetto Corsa 1 with SOL mods, nothing particular. It's not a pretty game and compared to ACC, it simply looks worse


Note: I'm not counting tons of bugs I encountered, sound bugs, visual bugs, driving bugs, ffb bugs, due to its being in early access stage. Pay attetntion to devs, they're up to something and whatever they say or promise - take it with a pinch of salt. Pinch of salt that big it stucks in your throat

Great quality Diablo 2 knockoff without any story and unreasonably complicated passive skills tree and RNG casino minigame. Highly recommended

A game that could be such a gem turned into alternative battlefield. Terrible design / gameplay decisions in past years added up for this, god knows what for normies with no microphone, will to cooperate and do anything but shooting like 2heads. Terrible community, barbaric crossplay with consoles... absurd simplifying decisions

It's a good game that has its own problems. Don't we all?

How one can really recommend this game is something I can't wrap my head around it.

Graphics - this game looks like its 2014
Sounds - effects | casting spells and sounds of enemies are aight
Sounds - voice acting | feels like this is a mobile game, it's simply appaling
Sounds - music | is just so bad it feels like this is a mobile game again
Story - hard to tell but after around 60 minutes of gameplay it's just terrible
Gameplay - I have mixed feelings to it. Mana and Health is restoring so fast, it feels like it's unlimited, so what's even the point? Skill trees feels okay, really hard to tell if that even makes any difference. A lot of customization of something that will finally come to playing with one or two types of build.

Still gonna give it a chance tho it feels, like this game gets positive reviews from trolls. Disappointing to say at least
