I love this game despite it's flaws. It's the best pirate game I've ever played. But it has flaws like toxic sweats, a gamespace and engine that is showing its age and servers that are creaky and leaky creating lots of lag and desync. Monetization of aesthetics (like every other online game) has also ramped up in this age of enshittifcation.

But it still gives me joy. I don't play as often as I used to though. Take whatever you want from that.
