This is everything you want in an Early Access game - really solid core mechanics that are fun AS IS. All the game needs is polish, and more content.

What a delight!

Somehow they made me not only care about a bunch of random fantasy warring kingdoms, but actively try to write down and really learn who they all are, draw maps in a notebook based on optional books I read in a backroom area.

If you have ever played and enjoyed a jrpg, you will probably like this game.
