I can be too, if I feel confident enough to get all the achievements, depends on the game, but I still play for story and characters first. I see you have The Cat Lady on your wishlist, I love that game. It's the first I got all the achievements in and I love the story. I think you're going to enjoy it.

Sometimes it's not just about the achievments, it's also about the story and characters so you play for that as well, so I'd say go for it.
