This expansion was the second best in Destiny history (besides the Taken King in Destiny 1), but it is now no longer worth the price due to the DCV (Destiny Content Vault), which is basically Bungie's way of removing content from the game so that there is room to add more to it. While I fully understand this, and on some level am ok with some of the content being removed, I am not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ok with 5 out of 7 raids and half of the forsaken expansion being removed. On top of the asking for $70 for the Beyond Light deluxe edition is absolutely insane, people were already saying Shadowkeep was too much at $35. I do consider Destiny to be one of my favorite titles because of it's amazing story (only about 20% will be actually told to you, the rest you need to become a lore nerd to learn), great graphics, really unique exotic weapons and armor, and raids, which have contained some of my favorite gaming moments from the past few years, but the game is going down a bad path, I'm sorry I cannot recommend this expansion at its current price of $25


TLDR: DCV makes this expansion not worth it, but it's still good content maybe buy if its 50% off

All of the gear (except raid loot) is getting sunset on Nov 10, 2020. Literally only buy this for the raid and the exotics, I've gotta say buying the deluxe edition early was a mistake due to sunsetting of all the ♥♥♥♥ I got and the fact that all of the seasons have just been grinding out horde mode style activities. I really like this game and it's potential, but my god they are really killing it. Beyond Light better be the best damn expansion ever if you want me to pay $70 for the deluxe edition

Completing raids with less than 6 people is selfish
I said what i said. What's the point of doing a raid with less than the intended amount of people Bungie designed it for? You get the same loot but for more effort i don't get it.

Not only is it selfish but it's also cheating because Bungie didn't design their raids to be completed by less than 6 people without cheats or hacks. I always report anyone who brings up their "trio" or "duo" accomplishment because not only did they cheat but that's 3 or 4 people who didn't get a clear.

You could also just be helping people get their first raid clear or getting the raid exotics but no you're wasting time putting in more effort for no reason.

I pray for a day where a raid can’t be low manned and every job is necessary and required or you wipe. Raids of varrying difficulties have been released, we have the beginner skill raids for those that want a sherpa to do all the work while they add clear the whole time. Now make a raid require mechanical/survival/clear competence from everyone

Stand by this 100%, wouldn’t hurt to reduce the egos of a lot of the low man/speed run/clear farming community too. Or at least just remove them from the equation. Nobody likes those losers. Especially after how they’ve acted recently. Just as bad as PVP sweats.

Completely amazing game, great story, zero bugs. Would consider top 10 games of all time.
