Decent effort! I can see why it's acclaimed.
I'm partial to thief class in my rpg games and strider is a excellent class to choose if you need range for smart combat to keep your escorts safe.

The game is equivalent to Monster Hunter in terms of combat. You can hold and climb animals in this game. I was quite astounded since I never played Monster Hunter but I'm a soulsborne veteran.

Big tip I can offer is save often and if a npc dies, kill yourself and restart again. Once the npc is safe, immediately save your game after.
I have not seen the gripes about warping in my gameplay compared to others complaints. Once you reach the early hub Gran Soren by the inn, you'll get a eternal ferrystone. So a very useful tool.

The mechanics had me a bit rattled from the start but feels like a follow up to Demon's souls in some instances.

Quick tip: To find your way out of firelink, touch the bonfire to get to your next destination. It's Miyazaki doing the Archstone warp instead of the typical free exploration of ds1 and ds2. IT;s a bit more linear mechanically so not in universe walking.

Playing on a laptop and on lowest settings. Holds pretty well. A shame I can't screenshot. I have to use snapcrab to use the screenshot feature.
Dark souls 1 and 2 allowed me to screenshot, so I hope fromsoft will allow steam to screenshot in the future.

I played Pinstripe and that was a polished game. Already reached the cemetary and there's two bugs that need fixing in this two year game.
There's a softlock in the sewer section if you do the steps wrong(you have to quit out and return)
With the cemetary's le Parkour section, the vines you're swinging on disappear. It might be a "Verify integrity of files" fix but this is ridiculous. These bugs never happened in Pinstripe, so I'm wondering what happened between games.
I like these devs but the disappearing vines glitch makes this a tedious gameplay experience.

Highly recommended to watch guides before this game but if you're cautious and notice the sleeping hollows before they gang up on you, you'll have a safe time. Save your effigies before boss battles.
It's a troubled game but very decent. The cast is charming.

A decent continuation from the original. Puzzles are precision timed so you'll have to make sure you have trigger fingers during platform moments.
Weakest part so far is the beginning. The original got you through the mechanics quickly, while this sequel expects you to relearn everything against your will even if you're competent and new to this game.

A highly enjoyable game that tests your endurance and attention to your surroundings. I can see why this game is a classic and looking forward to the other fromsoftware games in the future as I explore these lands while having shenanigans along the way with the boys of "Jolly cooperation".

Have fun~

A classic. Not as elaborate as Yuppie Psycho but is a good introduction to the mechanics before you try out Yuppie Psycho.

Highly recommended if you change the fov to 90 with note++.
Due to motion sickness, the game is rough but it is a classic. I can see why it has a cult following.

Surprisingly difficult. Had to use a youtube tutorial to get through this. A good portion of the puzzles are timed. Shame there's no campaign/story mode but it's a decent early effort from Klei.
