Not a big fan of the world design in terms of aesthetics, it looks pretty at times and but they made it futuristic in the most uninteresting ways. Story is bland, mid at best and boring overall. Couldn't care less about any of the characters, the relations between each other are always on surface level. Plus they tried to make everyone look edgy for some reason...

When it comes to gameplay however this game definitely shines more like its so fun to run around and do parkour... Movement feels right most of the time and there's certain challenges that are fun to do. Which is great because that's literally the only thing they needed to do to make it an enjoyable game. When you run and do succesful parkour moves and keep it going, your focus meter fills and at some point the colors become vibrant, it reminded me of the original game. Although that itself is a cool idea, I would still prefer if colors looked vibrant all the time.

Due to the open world design you can always choose your own path to traverse. The game actually contains a lot of indoor locations as well. There's not much to find in the world except some boring collectibles and some "secret recordings" that provide some context and lore. Yet I still found myself exploring certain locations because in order to reach some spots you have to think a bit about the structure and challenge your abilities to collect something or just to so see if you can reach it or not.

Uh there's also combat... Very rarely it gives you a cool third person animation but other than that its mostly just okay.

It is worth mentioning that they've shut down the servers of this game few months ago so online features are gone and for some reason they made achievments dependent on the servers. Even the offline ones. Only 2 of the achievments were online related and were supposed to be unachiavable but as of now about 30% of the achievments are not unlocking on steam or on ea even when the game itself recognises that you got the achievment. And the ones that you can unlock will not unlock most of the time, you have to repeat a mission and spam reconnect button so that steam to recognises it after few minutes...

Insane how many crashes and errors you can get during ranked games where you are not allowed to rejoin and issued 1hr ban, rp loss and renown reduction everytime regardless of your system and your connection, 9 years old game btw
