A great game with surprisingly deep tactical challenges. Different enemy types require new tactics to survive, so combat never becomes boring. A wealth of weapons and armors adds another layer to how you can fight battles. On top of that your characters each gain levels and you can choose abilities to unlock.

Outside of battle you have to make sure you keep your men supplied with food, medical supplies, tools to fix broken equipment and gold for each pay day.

It's hard not to become attached to your men, which makes it all the more emotional when one of them is beheaded by an enraged orc. But you also have the satisfaction of watching the beggar you hired strike down a hardened brigand thug and take his armor and weapons.

A great game and well worth the full price.
