probably the metroidvania platformer with my favorite moveset out of the ones ive played. moving through this game just feels great. that as well as the fact that it looks nice, sounds nice and has a decent story that at least keeps you engaged makes this one of my favorite games. also has tons of replay value if youre like me and like achievements. definitely worth its price, if its on sale getting it is a no brainer.

i could nitpick about the kind of easy puzzle design and the slightly underwhelming ending, but lets be real. its free. it looks great. i had a lot of fun with it. the portal community is pretty starved for new mods nowadays. theres a lot more to like than not to like, and im very excited for the sequel. good mod, if you like the portal games you should play it.

really cool concept for a puzzle game, its kinda rare to see genuinely new stuff in the genre so this was a very welcome addition to it. very polished and nice looking which makes for a great atmosphere. also kinda funny at times. unfortunately a bit short for the price tag, so i recommend getting it on a sale.

never really got into other strategy / city builder games, always stressed me out too much. this one really hit the spot for me tho! i rly love the twist on the genre, 100%ing the levels is very satisfying and it looks and sounds nice to add to that. i also think its admirable that the devs actually stand behind the values inspiring this game by donating such a considerable amount from their profits to environmental causes. free content updates that actually add quite a lot are also always very cool. even if you dont usually like this genre, give this one a shot on a sale!

the most fun i've ever had playing a game in my life. snappy controls for an easy to learn but hard to master moveset with incredible depth, phenomenal level design that hits the sweet spot between trivial and frustrating every single time, a nice and genuine bit of story that doesn't overstay its welcome, great soundtrack that keeps you going, the prettiest pixel art style i've ever seen in a game, and an absolutely crazy amount of bonus content beyond the main campaign that keeps you coming back for more. you will not regret buying this, whether on sale or not.
