Idk who thought it was a good idea to have your "main character" and "leader" of your tribe/clan be pretty much useless, but its not. Its horrible game design and instantly killed this game for me. Unfortunately I found out too late to refund.

Greed, greed, greed, greed, greed, greed.

The gameplay itself is really fun and the setting/humour is amazing.

But the server stability is non-existent at the moment and is beyond launch-day acceptable standards. I have now played several missions in a row without gaining ANY credit/reward for doing so really wasting my time, especially since I'm stuck at such a low level so I don't even have access with different equipment to play with and experience.

So just wait to buy until the game is fixed and is actually worth your time/money. Like I said before, the product is good, its just not ready.

Disclaimer: Overall I did enjoy my time playing this map and I did everything on this map except for collecting all 200 runes (I think I got like 130 or something) which I just stopped doing because I honestly didn't care enough.

However, I leave this as a non-recommendation on one really big caveat. If you are the type of person that will try to look up information while playing, you may have a really crushing experience like I did. For those that don't know, this map was originally a fan mod (huge credit to the modders) and its cool and all that WC made it official however they actually removed a lot of stuff from the modded version. So that compounded with the fact that the mod has been out for a fair bit longer than the official version has led to this awkward situation where there's more information available for the mod than the official. Now this will get better over time I'm sure however there were multiple times where I ended up losing a decent amount of my time accidentally following the wrong information and even worse finding out something I thought was really cool (like certain easter eggs I won't spoil) don't exist in the official version so I was constantly just reminded that there was a better version of what I was playing out there that I wasn't getting to play.

*This next part is a minor spoiler but it angers/depresses me so much I have to vent it*

I also just have to specifically say because this one drives me *NUTS* - The fact that there is this EXTREMELY cool ship wreck hidden in the forgotten caverns but there is an INVISIBLE WALL that prevents you from even getting to it to just even check it out or take screenshots or anything is an absolute joy-kill.
