Great game, hilarious writing and works perfectly. I love the artstyle in particular. Shmups should really be a more popular genre. But it is what it is. People want dumb autowin AAA garbo.

I've learned to look at JRPGs in a totally different way than WRPGs. Basically, a JRPG is a comic book in videogame form and the gameplay and stuff that happens represents scenes in a very structured way. This allows the story/characters to really come alive. WRPGs represent more simulationist/realistic gameplay. Both are good in their own way.

Berseria really excels at making the combat feel fluid and fun. Its also good at maintaining a very entertaining storyline, moreso with fun characters than grand amazing plot.

Feels like I'm in the arcade w/this one. Phenomenal game. Very fair too.

I have to say I haven't been so impressed by a game in a long time. Takes itself seriously, good voice acting and the hand drawn stuff is breathtaking. Not to mention it has fun mechanical stuff like animation cancelling for more dps etc. It's great!

If you're playing on Dualsense you open the map with the left side of the big center button, bizarre but its alright.

Really fun game, idk what else to say, has all the things.

I will say the anticheat everybody is worried about has an uninstaller on their website to fully remove it in case it doesn't get taken away when you uninstall. People can stop worrying about it.

This game's actual gameplay is fun. I love placing dice and the tetris style equipment. It's very good. But the art style and writing are horrendous. Like absolutely can't stand lol. Wtf is this trend in indie games with trash writing and never taking anything seriously? Anyways its good, 8/10.

Beautiful game. Music and colors are stunning. Text is whimsical and fun. This is amazing for a fan game, 10/10.

Gameplay itself is very good. Easy was a 2 try 1cc for me. I'm not good at these games but am improving.

4 things I think you should know for this game:
1. Going to the top part of the screen collects all the loot
2. You can change controls in the steam input menu to whatever you want easily.
3. Consider using borderless gaming alleviate the alt-tab headache in japanese games. You can find the free version on the dev's github and its really easy to use.
4. If you're playing on stick (and you should be!) I suggest binding move slow to the bottom left button, shoot to the one above and and bomb to the one to the right.

Great metroidvania touhou game. Moment to moment gameplay is mostly very good. Pretty short, buy on sale. Some of the screens were annoying, not too terrible though.
