Sad to say I don't actually recommend this.

Given I've got close to 70 hours in FP1; I've done <12hrs in FP2 and finished the campaign - but telling is that I have no desire to play more of it. The game is in some ways an evolution from the first game and is different enough to fully warrant being a sequel and not just a DLC as some sequels feel...

The mechanics have all been ironed out and smoothed over, zooming out from the up-close-and-personal feel of the first game .... And this is its biggest failing. It's too "smooth" and feels dumbed down and overly simplified. At no point was I ever wracking my brain over a choice of where the optimal district placement was or if I was over-stretching myself - there was basically no wrong choice,

There was no connection to the people in your city either; no heartbreaking choice between two bad options where you're simply trying to limit the damage and hope you can live with the monstrous decision. Everything you do just benefits the city, a city full of people you have no connection to....

I'm not sure how to even describe this game. There's not really any "gameplay" to speak of, just moving your character around and talking to a variety of NPCs with some minor dialogue interaction... but the world/lore/story and the mystery of it just makes you want to keep playing. I think I'm nearing the end and things are coming together but there's still mystery to unravel.

Game could well be good -- but it's hidden behind a Queuing Simulator that's harder than Battletoads to beat.

The dev annoyed 'people' at Reeeeeeeeeeee-dditt, that alone makes the purchase worth it.

Glorious world and engaging characters. Unfortunately marred by bugs - but honestly, my experience has been very playable - some minor immersion-breaking type bugs (T-poses, weird car physics on collisions etc) and 1-2 quest bugs that forced a reload. Annoying, but the game itself makes up for it and hopefully CDPR fix it going forward.

Excellent game - hella fun, enjoyable loop. Only downside is how awkward multiplayer is with the convoluted system..

The tutorial 'section' is just about long enough to take you past Steam's 2 hour refund window. Sneaky sneaky. After 4 hours, you've seen everything the game has to offer, I went for about 6 to "give the game a chance" - big mistake. Now steam keep refusing my refund request. Geegee.
