someone told me after 4 years this game got better. I don't see it...

it is as much of a glitchy and boring mess as it was when it got released.

some good, some bad.. if you think youll like this type of game then you probably will... the question is whether your autism test comes back positive or negative.. mine was positive...

where most triple A games fail to have character and personality this game has a ton of both.
Nobody likes a dull bland game.

So many parts of this game are just straight up not working. If only performance issues were the only things ruining the experience it'd be just that, but the game is lacking both performance wise but also in terms of just plain functioning. You're left with trail and error until you find a way to avoid weird bugs and glitches, and building and destroying infrastructure over and over again as the game doesn't clearly show you what you can and cannot, and this even seems to be inconsistent at times. The game is a mess with potential in its current state and it's honestly a cool beta, the only problem is the devs didn't call it a beta upon release.


Edit: the game has been updated. not everything has been solved but its going in the right direction. :)

Edit 2: put about 50 hrs into this game over two weeks, Ive ben really digging it (probably the autism), but there are STILL so many game breaking bugs and crashes are not an uncommon thing. The performance in 500k+ cities is unacceptably ♥♥♥♥, and I suspect the reason is the unity engine. This game has some really cool ideas and some really cool tech, its just unfortunate that the game is still in the state that its in. Maybe in 5+ years this will be the coolest game on earth, who knows, but for now avoid paying for this game, its not finished.

steam isnt even a DRM for ubisoft games, its literally a place to buy a key for uplay..
