I am saying no purely because I don't think this game holds up anywhere near other titles from this year, Baldurs gate has been an excellent experience so far, and I am excited for Lords of the Fallen in a couple days as well. As a big Call of Duty fan I am very excited for the next installment of the reboot of Modern Warfare, however I go into that game expecting a great campaign story good graphics and a straight forward linear shooter campaign. That's really all starfield boils down to be as well. Forget wearing the outfit you want to look coolest in, because the armor upgrade system is so loosely implemented I didn't even realize it was there until I put 40 hours into the game.. ship building wasn't necessary until I realized how cool the interiors were and all the customization that was possible with the ships. Even then, slap a ton of storage on something with a couple engines and you'll be set for the rest of the game. None of your decisions matter outside of the questline you were currently doing.

I can go on and on, but it's pretty much the same as what everyone else has complained about, shop stock and vendor wallet being to small, repetitive missions (go here, kill this, collect this, comeback), almost thought I was playing Destiny for a minute. At the end of the day, you know it's bad when a UC Security thanks me for my service as a Freestar Ranger (the opposing faction).

I spent a lot more time than I had realized in the game and enjoyed what I played, but I would definitely not consider this game of the year or worth the price tag.

I have waited so long for this game to finally come to PC. Spiderman has always been my favorite superhero and to finally be able to swing through NYC fulfills so many childhood dreams. I love this game so much, the story is great, the side missions are great, the movement and fighting mechanics are great.

I am 12 hours in and I have only completed half of the main story, there is still 3 DLCs!

Also finally a game where I actively avoid fast travel.

Recently this game has gone downhill. I know its an old game but for a game that is so heavily managed still, it is disappointing that the developers can't seem to fix the issues rather than pump out half baked updates. Their anti-cheat is a joke, and the competitive community is very toxic (not so much something that should be blamed on the developers).

EDIT: It's now 2023 and I can't join my friends because the game thinks I am offline despite me setting myself online everywhere. How do they keep breaking this game?

EDIT 2: They kinda fixed the party system but now the hit-reg is abysmal.
